From Team M4 Suzuki
Fresh off another Martin Cardenas victory at Road America, Team M4 Suzuki tested at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Wednesday. AMA Pro Daytona SportBike points leader Cardenas and Jason DiSalvo refined the settings on the team's Suzuki GSX-R600 race machines and tested tires for series control tire manufacturer Dunlop.
"We packed quite a bit of testing in one day," said Team M4 Suzuki Crew Chief Keith Perry. "We were concerned about the weather so we planned to get all of our work in on Wednesday and we were really pleased with the results. One of our goals was to refine our settings for Mid-Ohio and the race coming up and the other was to test tires for Dunlop. The team and the riders feel good about what we were able to accomplish."
DiSalvo and Cardenas began the day by tweaking their bikes' setups specifically for Mid-Ohio.! "Our baseline settings have been good at most of the tracks this year and it's always good to get a chance to see where you're at during a pre-race test," said Perry. "We've had success at Mid-Ohio before, but this season we're on the Dunlop tires and it was good for both riders to get some laps in."
With the completion of this test, Team M4 Suzuki will next race at Laguna Seca in support of the USGP, July 3-5.
